In January of 2015, we strengthened our leadership team by welcoming our Director of Counseling, Mrs. Paulette Edwards, M.S. and our Executive Director, Mr. Steven Myhrie. We continue to reach individuals, youth, and families through our Outpatient Program and Community Outreach Opportunities. Here is an overview of 2015: April 13 – Our friends at Hope for All Nations Christian Fellowship, blessed us with the opportunity to bring greater awareness about HOP by sponsoring a booth for us at the Coral Springs World Fest, which had hundreds in attendance. April 15 – We held our first Young Ladies’ Group Meeting. June 20 – Mrs. Edwards had the honor of presenting HOP at the Family & Friends Connection, Inc. Annual Banquet. August 1- HOP relocated to The Forum, at 600 SW 3rd Street, Suite 5100 L, Pompano Beach, FL 33060. September 19- We participated with In His Will Ministries’ Forgiveness Workshop. September 24- Spread awareness of HOP at the FPL in Miami Gardens United Way Kickoff and participated in McNicol Middle School’s Mix & Mingle. October 30 – Partnered with Miami Bridge, the only 24 hour emergency shelter for youth in crisis in Miami, FL October 31-We hosted a powerful Addiction Proof Your Kids Workshop with Guy Wheeler and Don Maines in our “Let’s Talk About Flakka” at the African American Research Library in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. November- Great Learning Works partnered with HOP to develop a free interactive online course for youth and parents to get informed about FLAKKA, which will be available for the public this year! December 5- We celebrated you at our Annual Luncheon! Thank you for making, Reaching, Rehabilitating and Restoring Lives possible!
