FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Special Gatherings
DESCRIPTION: House of Protection, Inc. hosts an annual 1-day retreat for men ages 16+, “Calling All Men to Arms” and an annual 3-day retreat for women ages 16+, “A Time of Refreshing”. These retreats provide an atmosphere for mentoring, reflection and rest.
BENEFIT: Rest is vital for our mental, physical and spiritual wellness. It produces the clarity of mind needed to refocus and prioritize. These intimate gatherings encourage individual growth and healing, which positively impacts each family represented.
ANNUAL COST: Men’s Gathering- $6,000/Women’s Gathering- $10,000
RECOGNITION: Available upon request.
YOUR GIFTS AT WORK: House of Protection’s cost of fundraising is 4 cents on the dollar. The national average is 20 cents. This means 96% of your gifts goes directly to projects and programs. Help provide a $150 scholarship for one gentleman to attend “Calling All Men to Arms” or a $250 scholarship for one woman to attend “A Time of Refreshing”. All lodging accommodations, meals and materials are included.
